यह फिल्म, राम के नाम को हर तरफ से जाचंती है फिर विश्व हिंदू परिषद के राम को भी दिखाती है। आनंद उस साम्प्रदायिकता के सच को उजागर करते हैं, जो सत्ता हासिल करने के लिए राम के नाम का प्रयोग करती हुई लाशों का ढेर लगाती है। फिल्म धार्मिक असहिष्णुता के खिलाफ मानवता को सामने रखती है।

1930 में हिंदू राष्ट्रवाद ने ‘भिन्न’ लोगों को ‘दुश्मनों’ में रूपांतरित करने का विचार यूरोपीय फ़ासीवाद से उधार लिया। इस संबंध में ‘इकोनॉमिकल एंड पोलिटिकल वीकली’ के जनवरी 2000 अंक में मारिया कासोलारी का शोधपरक लेख प्रकाशित किया गया था, जिसमें कासोलारी ने आर्काइव/दस्तावेजों से प्रमाण प्रस्तुत किए हैं।

The film narrates their ordeal and miseries and shed light on their current fight for survival.

Gujarat: Lawyer and Human Rights Activist severely beaten by Police
Young lawyer and Human Rights activist Bilal Kagzi, along with his clients, were severelybeaten up in village Kosamba, Surat District of Gujarat. He was beaten up by police officialsof the Kosamba Police Station within the premises of the station. They were subsequently arrested for 5 hours and released around 3 PM. He fears of further attack on him. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning, at around 10:30 am when Kagzi, along with two locals, Muhammed Rafeeq and Shahnawaz Khan, had gone to register a complaint about the destruction of public property by a local criminal, Mohd. Haneef Malik.
